Video Cameras Make Me Nervous?

Juliet smiles for the camera, but does something else for the video camera -- especially after too much from the milk jugs. Wait for it...wait for it...

My first flight

Sorry for the delay in posting..I have been very busy smiling and cooing when I am awake and have not had time to work on my blog. Last week I flew to Columbus, Ohio for an overnight visit. I think I did pretty well considering how nervous M&D were. I slept the flight there and back...the sound of the engine worked really well. I got to see Molly and Todd get married and meet many more of the OWU clan. I also taught Dad how to tie his bow tie, FINALLY!

I guess everything they told M&D about travelling with a newborn was true, or at least I convinced them it was...at least until next time:) I am officially no longer a newborn and am now an infant. Watch out, here I come world.

Mommy & me...look alike?

This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago, but, my friend Barbara thinks I look like Mom did when she was a wee one. What do you think?

Big events of recent

I had a big week last week. I went and got some culture with my mother and Coco. I got to see a very large Marc Chagall mosaic while I sat with the ladies and had lunch. Here is what I was told(or whispered to) about Chagall, in case you don't know who he is, before I saw his artwork: Marc Chagall was a Jewish artist, born in Belarus and naturalized French in 1937. He is associated with several key art movements and was one of the most successful artists of the twentieth century. Who knows, maybe I will be artistic? Thank you Linda for inviting us for a special day.

Sleeping Contest Results

Mom and Juliet had a sleeping contest to see who could sleep the longest.

"I bet I can sleep for an entire night!" boasted Mom.

"Even though I'm only three weeks old, I bet I can sleep just as long as you can," said Juliet.

So they started to sleep. In the first night, both Mom and Juliet slept for about 45 minutes. Winner: nobody.

During the next night, they both slept about 2 1/2 hours. Juliet won because she merely matched how long Mom slept; however, they both still have a lot of training to do before they can take on the champ, Dad, who holds the recognized family record.
